 This is not a power play, ... except in the sense that Bishop Robinson's position in the church is a total innovation in the life of the church, and what we face are two positions that can't be put together.

 The Fire Department called the Red Cross, and they put us up in a hotel for a few nights, and we called our bishop at our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on McCollum Road in Bentonville), and the people from there have been helping us. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

 For a church to affirm a sinful behavior is for that church to conduct a fruitless and deceptive ministry. Regardless of the good intentions of Pastor Haney, the ministry his church has facilitated and that he personally supports is a ministry quite unlikely to confront homosexual behavior as a sin. That stance is contrary to Scripture.

 I believe the Catholic Church teachings about homosexuality and the priesthood need to be made clear. I believe that after Vatican II homosexuals exploited loopholes (in church policy), and the fruits of that lax attitude are reflected in the abuses that have come to light.
