 You may only have 10 minutes. It's the first play or it could be 20 plays. We executed on the first one.

 Tonight was a big effort. We executed all through the game even when the reserves came in the last eight minutes. Those guys executed.

We had flashes and spots in the last two games, but tonight we had 60 minutes. We've shown all year that if we play 60 minutes, we can be a really good team.

 We had control of the game but a few turnovers let them sneak back into it. We called timeouts to set up a few plays and when the play doesn't get executed, that's costly.

 I think what's happened is (starters) minutes have gone down in the last few games because of the play of (Antonio) McDyess, the play of Mo (Evans), the play of (Carlos) Delfino, the play of (Carlos) Arroyo. Those guys have played well, and if a team plays well, you keep them on the floor.

 Marcus and I play the same position, but we don't look at it like that. We're just trying to win games. We both know that we're going to play, and it's not about who plays more minutes.

 We did what you're supposed to do and for me that is more exciting than hitting a home run. We executed some good old-fashioned plays. We hit the cut-off man and we made the plays in the field to win.

 Four errors looks like we didn't play good defense but we did. We executed defensively in key situations. The key to the game was the stretch with key defensive plays. The kids kept their heads. That's a sign of maturity.

 We executed well. We didn't play a great game but we executed well in the fourth when we really needed it.

 We showed our maturity. We didn't play our best first half and yet we were up a point. We executed better in the second half. Execution is about making plays.

 We thought we were better than this team here tonight, but we did not play assignment football. When you are playing option football, that is a big thing. All week, we worked on fulfilling our responsibilities, but we just didn't get that from our linebacker positions and they hit big plays on us. ... We can't accept that. Mentally, we didn't play like we are capable. They just out executed us.

 I don't think that's a big part of the game right now. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. It's about power plays and penalty kills, it's not about fighting. And it's a little different if the tough guy can play. ... I'm not going to knock some of these other guys who can play only three minutes and if you ignore them they're totally useless.

 I'd like to keep him in the mid-20s if there's any way possible to do that, because that gives him enough energy to really pursue the ball and finish off plays on the inside. I thought the fact that we had to play him 37 minutes the other night in Houston had an effect on that one play late where he got to the rim, but couldn't quite get it in.
