 Coach is sort of like a senior, too. He's one-and-done. We've got a lot to fight for.

 It opens with Scott about to get married and I'm his best man and then, with a camera effect, we sort of go back in time and he's getting prepared for a big fight. And I'm his trainer and as he's preparing for the fight. We come out [to the ring], people are cheering. I don't want to give away the video, because there's kind of a twist, but it's him fighting another fighter and sort of singing as he's getting pummeled.

 I did have that upper hand of knowing her a little bit better than my other senior teammates. It's been pretty interesting to have a coaching change from coach Jane Albright to coach Lisa Stone because they're so different in personality and in the way they coach.

 Coach Dixon is always on me, ... I haven't had a coach like that since high school. He's after you on every play, and it gets frustrating. Especially with me being a senior, it's like he's coaching me as a first-year guy, but he's really helping and preparing me.

 Me and Wayne were battling for the ball. He was juggling it. I kept trying to fight, fight. I was falling, because I jumped before he did. Coach always says play to the whistle, and that's what I did.

 We took a chance with this particular piece. We were trying to make it a sort of fusion. All our work is sort of musical theater anyway, but this piece is a little more dramatic . . . this fight for the trumpet player's soul, so to speak.

 I have been waiting eight years for this fight and I can't wait. It is the sort of fight all boxers dream of and I cannot wait to unify the titles.

 Absolutely. I put a lot of things on my shoulders, especially after losses. Going out your senior year with the coach leaving, it's a hard pill to swallow. Coach Barnett would kill me for saying that, but it's just the way I feel about things.
