 This morning we said we're going to play small ball if we have to. We need to execute and move runners over and find a way to score. Usually we would want Aimee to score a runner at second herself. But we put on the bunt, it was an awesome bunt and got the runners moved.

 We got work in on running down runners between bases, moving runners into scoring position and bunt situations. These are fundamentals you usually don't work on until district play.

 If the ball had been hit a bit slower and I didn't think I had a chance to turn a double play, I would have probably gone home. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. But we've turned double plays all season long and can't change anything you've done this season. If we turned that double play we might be talking about something different.
