It wasn't really a scolding. It was just one of those things where he expects a lot out of me, and he just wants me to go out and have a great year. He just wants me to play great football.

Part of the reason why Stephanie was so successful last year was that she knew she had to step up. Molly wasn't going to be able to get it done and Stephanie looked at the situation and said 'I'm going to get it done.' She's been a great leader ever since she's been here. But I think he'd admit this wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he called it at one point one of his more frustrating seasons. I think he'll take the steps necessary to improve upon that.

We've come a long way since last year. Hopefully, this will be a stepping stone for this football team. I think we've got great talent, I think we've got guys with great character, all the things you want. I hope we can keep this group intact. It's difficult to do nowadays. But if we can, I expect some good things next year.

He's one of the great players to ever play college football. He was the best player on any team this year. If he comes back, he's got a great chance to win the Heisman next year.

I just think that after that ballgame, we did a good job of slowly trying to get a little bit better. I don't know that it was anything instantaneous. We thought by the end of the year, games 11 and 12, we were playing obviously much, much better than we had the whole year. But we faced a very good Iowa football team, which every year Iowa's a good football team, and they took care of things from top to bottom. It was certainly a learning thing. Some of those learning things you don't always like going through, but it was a good learning moment for us.

Tommie didn't get a great shot. There's a great player that made a great play. It wasn't a great designed play. He just made it work.

If that was my last pass, it was a great way to end my career. It's been great for me to play football where I grew up. I always dreamed about becoming a New York Jet football player.
