 We want J.J. to spread it around to a lot people. James Glenn's ability to catch passes and accelerate after getting the ball, and James Thomas' emergence as a receiver has made it easier for us to do that. They complement each other in our offense. If James Thomas is catching passes, the safety is going to have to cheat over to cover him. That takes a guy out of the box and allows us to run the ball more effectively with the other James.

 We felt like Blake is much better prepared mentally, physically. He's had an excellent summer working out, and it's clear to all of us here that he's our best guy to go out there. So when it's obvious, we've named him the starter. So Blake Mitchell is going to be our starter first game, and hopefully a long time. We'll go from there. Back-ups we don't know yet, we're trying a lot of guys right there. But Blake's earned it and he's our starter.

 James Thomas was a tough dude, but P.J. took on that challenge head on. James was one guy you didn't mess with, but P.J. took him on.

 Last year, he played behind his brother [Aaron Boyce] and Blake [Solomon]. Now it's his time to step up.

 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

 I've always known how talented James Blake is. It's not that his game is different. It's his demeanor. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone.

 I don't know who mentioned William Blake first, but Allen talked about his visions of Blake and I told him about my dreams of being Blake.

 Blake really anchors our defense. On multiple occasions he's saved my butt. A big reason why teams have a hard time scoring on us is because they don't get a lot of points in the paint. That's Blake's doing.

 Right about the time of completion, someone in the back had said that Thomas was down. At that time everyone kind of stood up and cleared out. The medical staff immediately came to Thomas, who was at that time laying on the ground.

 My confidence was low after I lost (to American James Blake) in New York. But it wasn't very complicated today. I took my chances early and set the tone.
