 It's not really important who is going to score. The most important thing is that we score goals. It's a matter of time before the other guys are going to get hot.

 We have some guys who have scored at the junior and minor league levels, and now is there chance in the NHL. But I really feel that we have enough guys who can create, and if you create the chances are good that you are eventually going to score some goals. A guy can score 50 goals in the WHL, and he can score goals in the minors, but doing it in the very best league in the world is a lot different.

 It really is about how you play, how you interact with one another, the things you overcome. The final score is always important. These are competitive guys. But is it the most important thing? Quite frankly, no.

 As a team, I think we're coming around now, and that's the important thing. I didn't expect to score a ton of goals in my first year, but we have guys who can put the ball where they want it. And if you know they're coming in and you know where to be, you've just got to finish them when they get there.

 Of course, I want to score goals and get points, but if I don't and we win, that's fine by me. Our big guys were scoring goals so it didn't matter that much. But four games is a long time (without a point).

 I think we felt a little more confident. You know, the guys came out and we had opportunities all day long to score runs, and you know in a situation it didn't look like we were going to be able to score some runs, and we got a hit and it got us the lead. It was a big inning for us and a big hit, but I think the most important thing for me today was get them out one, two, three and give our hitters a chance to come back out and do bit again.

 It's important not to panic. I'm sure the guys will do what they have to. We have guys who can score goals.

 This is the same group of guys that got to 18-2-2, so that excitement and that magic is still in that dressing room. The feeling we have now is, 'Hey, we're back to where we were, if not better, the way we've been playing.' To still be able to score goals while at the same time not allowing these guys to score anything, you feel awesome.

 I don't want to blame the officials. For me the most important thing is to score goals with the number of opportunities we are creating.

 That was one of my most important goals in my career. So tomorrow I'm going to try and score another goal that will rank even more important.

 I think the whole thing was, 'We don't score points,' ... Once you score points, then you're like, 'Oh, we can score points.' Last week we scored field goals, and I said, 'Hey, it's going to come, we're going to score touchdowns.' I just didn't know how or when. What happened last night is a good positive momentum swing.

 You can't do anything about (run production). We'll score more runs. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. The important thing is that we won. It doesn't really matter if I got the win or not.

 I hope there's more important wins to come, but Alan's goal was the most important. I have no doubt in my mind that I will score goals, the relief for me is getting our first three points because it was badly needed.

 I think we've gotten better every game, ... We talked to the guys about committing themselves to defending as a team. We don't know where our goals are going to come from. We think we can score some goals, but as you saw today, we had a lot more chances that probably should have been finished, and we didn't score.

 We don't like to be put under the pressure to score three goals, but it's a relief that we can do it when we have to on a real huge stage like this and in an important time of our season.
