I think I started of really well from the first match. I was really read. It was a bit unexpected because I didn't play a lot of matches coming into the tournament, so I thought I would be a little rusty at the beginning.

We got off to a little bit of a slow start. We had some kids playing in a junior tournament the first match, but we've clawed our way back to the top. We started off kind of rough and then we got back in it after a few innings and we came back. We were just sort of rusty pitching wise coming off the Spring Break. We still hit the ball well and defensively we didn't have any errors. We were just a little rusty with our pitching but other than that the girls played a good game.

It was a really tough match that our young team will benefit from in the future. I thought it was a great match overall and these are the matches that you want to play to get better if you want to be a Top 25 program like we do.

It's been a tremendous rivalry. The matches have been tactical matches which is more like a chess match. If they end up in the finals of the Big 12, I think it's going to be a great match. If they end up in the finals of the national tournament I think it's going to be another great match.

I struggled in the first quarter. I don't know if I was nervous or rusty. I didn't play well. . . . I was very upset at halftime. I tried to clam down and play a little slower and things started to go better.

Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. The beginning of the match was a little bit tough because I had to get things going and I was still a bit rusty from yesterday (Friday), but once a few games were behind me I felt I was physically getting better and better. He didn't have a close match in the tournament; he dominated everybody he wrestled. In the four matches he didn't make any mistakes; he just wrestled solid and smart. He kind of got on a roll down here.

This match took longer to warm up then it did to play. The tougher matches are definitely coming up quick, but everyone got to play and played well tonight.
