 It's very much up in the air. It depends on the ratings. It's a terribly unfortunate thing though, the lack of Australian drama. We had decent TV drama once upon a time and we lost it. I'm very supportive of the idea of Australian drama. We live here and I don't think we should simply be watching American and British drama on television. That's why you have to support things like The Alice and hope they work.

 Eddie has made a lot of mistakes and Eddie has had a lot of problems in his life, but this is not something he created at all.

 We had a pitch count and we felt Eddie was getting a little tired there. I think he walked three batters in the fourth inning. We thought it was a good place to pull him. We had the top of their order coming up for the third time. Jeremy was ready. Eddie threw strikes all day. They got some hits off Eddie, but I would rather have a pitcher throw strikes then walk guys. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring.

 We see in Eddie a player with great potential, and certainly the injury put him back. He acquired a reputation that people expected a lot out of him, and I'm not copping out of that. We do expect a lot of Eddie, but at the same time he's a young player and he's getting there. His best soccer is probably for the next World Cup in all honestly. He's got a bright future, and we're hopeful he's moving forward.

 It's a very bad time for genuinely creative people to do television or anything now. There isn't a huge audience anymore to get the big budget which you need to make good drama unless you get sponsorship or unless you get teen stars to be in them. That sort of ties in with marketing and Coca-Cola and all that stuff.

 Eddie was reluctant to do some things the way that everybody else had to do them. I really like Eddie, but changes will have to be made.

 That's the way Eddie made his niche in the league, doing little things, doing the dirty work, continuing to play hard every night. That's what he's doing. His body's banged up right now, but he's still doing the things that Eddie does.

 It's probably the most difficult decision I've had to make in the time I've been the head coach. I'd come to this club around about the same time Eddie was drafted. He's grown up here while I've been here, and, you know, I put a lot of faith in him two years ago and he carried our team nearly all the way to the playoffs. I've seen him mature and get better as a player and win national team honors, so, yes, that was a very hard to let Eddie go.
