 It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. Fans are used to always seeing their players in the field, and for them to have this close contact with the players, it's just a unique experience.

 Yankees fans do expect to see Jeter, A-Rod, myself and Bernie Williams. But with this Classic going on, we had to lose some players for some time. I understand the sign, but hopefully we'll put on a showing for the U.S. team.

 I'm so delighted for the fans. I'm delighted for those fans who have really supported it, it was fantastic to make their day I'm also delighted for the players, a lot of them young ones, who have done so well.

 We've gone through growing pains with young players this year, ... but that's part of developing young players ... We like our young players.
