I know this sounds gezegde

 I know this sounds crazy, but everybody finally, seriously, took a real look at themselves. All season, everybody had an excuse or a reason for why we weren't getting a particular thing done.

 It sounds like an excuse, ... but it's a fact that this club, the way that we had set it up, for the most part has not been able to be out there the way we would've liked. We thought we were probably going to win a few games. And hey, who says we won't? But right from the get-go, it's been one thing after another.

 It sounds crazy. But, if we stop and think about it, if we have a hurricane season like last year, who knows. It's a possibility.

 For whatever reason we did get complacent. For a game we had total control, we were winning, great teams find ways to win and keep leads, especially at this point in the season. There's no excuse for it. But thank God it wasn't a team that (was) chasing us or needed the points, which was a good thing.

 It was a real mental drain just to go through this whole thing the past couple of weeks. Really, since the end of the season we've been dealing with it. And it's nice for it finally to come to an end, just in general.

 I never would have imagined being 0-6 at this point in the season. And I know it sounds crazy, but I am not displeased. We are finding out some things about our guys and we are getting better.

 I know this sounds, crazy, but I think we're capable of having a good season despite the way we played today. We could do OK in our division if we just play our game.

 There's no excuse to be bored. Sad, yes. Angry, yes. Depressed, yes. Crazy, yes. But there's no excuse for boredom, ever.

 We've got a lot to look forward to. I think we'll finally walk away from this crazy season feeling good about ourselves.

 We've had some bad starts, but that was our worst all season. To be unprepared like that, knowing what was coming, there's absolutely no excuse. Soft, sloppy play has been the characteristic of ourselves. We've just been getting by and pretending, and it's finally catching up with us.

 They're the reason we're here. Finally, I think everybody is seeing that these guys are for real.

 Every team in this league has had situations where either their rehab guys helped them win or they've had to deal with some bad outings or bad at-bats. That's just the way it goes. That's just another excuse. For me, the only excuse why we (were not) winning was because we weren't playing well.
