A coach is only gezegde

 A coach is only as good as his players are, I think. They had a goal and they really have stuck with it. They deserve to be here.

 We had to step up without two of our key players. The girls were disciplined and stuck to the game plan. They didn't get all ... weird. They did what we were planning to do and got into a good groove. Every single goal we scored was a strong goal.

 It's all credit to the players. They've stuck at it and got the results they deserve.

 Those guys deserve everything they get. They have been in the same system for more than seven years now and that part has really helped them. But they work at it and they're very professional all the way around. You couldn't coach two players that you could want this to happen more. They deserve every accolade because they're professionals on and off the field.

 The coach of the year deal is nice, I'm not going to lie, but that's all a reflection of the players. That's the way it always works. If you have good players, you have a good chance to win those things. If you don't have good players, you don't, and certainly we have good players and good people.

 Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. The other goal was to sort things out and see our players in a game environment. We got a good look at everyone. We will figure out a lot of things out from tonight's match. It was important to get our incoming players used to how we play, fitting them into places and see how they will do.

 There's 12 really good reasons (to stay), the 12 players on my team, ... And that's always going to be the case. You always























































































































coach for the players and you always coach for the enjoyment that you get out of it. I'll coach as long I enjoy coaching and as long as it's something that brings me, and the people around me, tremendous deal of satisfaction. When that's not the case any more I won't coach anymore.  When you hire a good coach, it's basically an attraction. (Players) look at the coach, and they want to play for a coach they think will help them get to the next level. The kids here are basically having a good time. They're learning we're winning because of the coach. It's attraction. The word attraction is very, very important. A good coach attracts.

 I really want to emphasize that we have good people here and we can never lose sight of that. Sometimes people focus on the things that went wrong and forget we have great players. I have told the players that I will be patient. ... I had a role model in my coach Pat Quinn when I was a player. He had a goal that he would never ruin anyone's outlook on the game.

 Those guys deserve everything they get. You couldn't coach two players that you would want this to happen for more.

 There are lots of great players out there, and not in my wildest dreams did I think that I'd make it anyway, ... It was a little disappointing -- because of course I'd love to go -- but all the players that are going are really good players and deserve to be there. That's the way it goes. Hopefully I can keep it going and get an opportunity another year.

 It is great to be in a situation in which you have great players. You find out pretty early in this business that without good players you will not be a good coach. I have been fortunate to be in a very good situation. My job as a coach is to make sure that we progress every year and we can be a championship contender.

 They're great kids and I feel fortunate to have been able to coach them. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. Not only are they good basketball players, they're great kids and they deserve everything that they've gotten. They all had different roles on the team but no one person's role was more important than the others.

 Robbie and Bryan figure to be our two prominent players up front. Robbie is one of the most prolific scorers in school history. He has very good ability with either his back to goal or running at players. Bryan is one of the fastest players we've had. He's extremely explosive and can be a solid goal-scorer for us.

 (Slowik) was a real good tactical, break-down-the-offense type of coach. We knew what to expect for games. He also was a good motivational coach. Overall, I feel he was a good coordinator for us. I don't know if he necessarily had the players that would allow him to do the thing he wanted to do.
