 I think it's going to be a defining moment for this team, for this season. If we can get this one against a very good football team, then we'll be back on track. And if not, then we're going to be in a hole and we'll have to fight our way out of it.

 We struggled in the first half and we put ourselves in a hole. That's something we've been struggling with the whole year. When you put yourself in a hole against a good team, it's going to be hard to fight back.

 We will be tested with this set of circumstances. It's going to be a defining moment of this football team.

 We got beat by a better football team tonight. Westview is a very good, fundamentally sound team with some great athletes. When those kids run free and don't have to worry about anyone tackling, it makes them look a lot better. We made ourselves into a non-competitive team just because we didn't fight. That has never happened since I have been here. We have to correct it to get back to what we were last year. Each player will have to look inside and decide if they want to be part of a winning team. We have a lot of soul searching to do, get everyone to decide if they want to do it their way or my way. Once they figure that out, I think we will get back to what we should be.

 Everyone thought to themselves, 'Yeah,' and bought in from that moment. It was his whole aura, tone of voice, demeanor, the air of confidence he brought. Throughout the whole season it came through him and into our football team. It's manifested itself in our football season.

 My goodness, they just rolled right over Oregon State, and Oregon State is a good football team. It wasn't even a game. they just destroyed them. Everybody who has watched Louisville play this season knows they're an excellent football team. They've got great players all over the place. Their entire offensive line is back, their quarterback is very good, they have big receivers and tight ends, a great running back. It's all there.

 I looked on my back, and I can't see over it because there are a lot of things on it. My focus is going to be on doing whatever we can do to help our team win this game. We've got a good football team. We're an active team and a happy team that believes in each other. We're going to be a team that plays its butt off on December 23.

 I think we're in a situation right now with our football team where we're not going into the draft with a glaring hole, or a glaring need that we must address. I think we're going in now, probably more so than any time that we've been together in Jacksonville, where we can go in and just select the best player and fill some depth on our football team that may emerge as a starter some day. In some cases, they'll have a hard time making our team, because it's a stronger team than we've had.

 We dug a hole for ourselves, but I'm proud of the way the kids came back. There's no such thing as a good loss, but at least we have a majority of our team back next season, so it will hopefully be a different story next year.

 We lost to a really good team. But we're the only team to beat them for the year. We're the only team to give them a fight. I'm looking forward to even better things next season.

 It will be great to be back in Charlotte this weekend. It's always good to race close to home. We had a disappointing race there earlier this season and we know that we can run well there. They have a new surface on the track and that will make the track very fast and I like fast. That will be awesome and work to our advantage. The team plans on focusing on a top five finish and hopefully shake off some of this bad luck we have been experiencing. We have a great team and we plan on showing that at Lowe's.

 I told them I'm proud to be a part of this team. I've been on some great football teams. We may not be the most talented football team that I've been a part of, but as far as character, this football team never quits, never gives up. To me, those are the things that mean more than just wins and losses. Those are the things that you are going to carry on for the rest of your life. If you keep fighting and never quit, you can come back. It's all in how you respond. This football team has always responded, and that's what they did today.  This is just such a great win for me and the Target team because we knew we had the car for this track which is very difficult and also rewarding when you put a good lap together. ... We had to have good fuel strategy and we knew this track was all about momentum. It's good to come back to the road courses and win once again. This one win makes this very difficult season so much better.
