 I'm proud of the girls for our performance. Last year at this time we weren't even playing seven innings. We made it seven innings with them and we hung in there. They are 6-0 in the conference so they are the team to beat.

 It was a really great year but it's not how we wanted it to end like this, especially after Albert hit that home run. We had a lot of momentum coming home. The crowd was into it those first couple of innings and I just didn't make the pitches in the third and the fourth innings.  We did a better job as the game went on, being more patient. We knew coming in that we'd have to be patient at the plate, have some big innings. In the first couple innings, we didn't do that.
