I made no birdies gezegde

 I made no birdies and I'm in a state of shock over that. The good thing about making no birdies is it can't possibly happen two days in a row. Maybe I'll bust out with six or seven tomorrow and that will be the story.

 The good news about making no birdies today is that it can't possibly happen two days in a row.

 I am excited about tomorrow. I didn't hit my driver quite as well today, but I made no birdies and I'm in half a state of shock about that. That just never happens to me. I can usually scrape one or two in somewhere. The good news is I hit a lot of good putts. I just didn't read them right or my speed wasn't right or a combination of both.

 It was a good first round. Three birdies to finish is always nice. The wind got up a little bit, but it was a lot less than I was expecting. I was expecting it would be tough today. There is still a long way to go, but certainly it would be good to capitalize on this round tomorrow with another good one. Hopefully I can go out and keep making birdies.

 The one thing he has that nobody else has -- maybe Nicklaus had this a little bit, too -- is the uncanny ability to win by whatever he needs to win by. If nobody is doing anything, then he won't do anything. He'll just kind of plug along. But if guys are making birdies, then he'll try to make birdies. That's what's amazing about him. If he needs 73 to win, he'll shoot 73. If somebody shoots 64, he'll shoot 65 to win by a shot.

 I know my game is there, so tomorrow, I'm going to try to fire at the flag and keep making birdies, because on a course like this, you never know what's going to happen. There could be some really low rounds and I don't want to lay back. You have to be aggressive.

 I wish I was more under par. It's a matter of going out and making some birdies. With the soft conditions, you can make some birdies.

 I made six pretty easy birdies in the pro-am so I had to stick in there after the start and hope there were some more birdies around the corner. Apart from missing a couple of short putts, it was a pretty good round.

 There's a lot of pride out here. You don't expect this golf course to play that hard. It used to be that if you weren't playing well, you could always make some birdies.  It's not one of those days where you can go out and make 16 pars and two birdies. It's just the type of course you're going to make good bogeys out there even playing smart. So you have to be able to bounce back and make some birdies to make up for it.

 Today was very satisfying. I hung in there, I took advantage of my opportunities to make birdies, ... Four birdies and a bogey around here are pretty good.

 There were a lot of birdies to be made out there, but you've got to make them. It was the same thing for four days. I was hitting the ball really well. I'm happy with the way I'm playing. It's just a matter of time.

 It was an emotional roller-coaster all day long. I did not play well at all for most of the day, but I was able to get it together at the end. Making three (birdies) in a row to finish the round at least makes you feel like you had a good day. I got in my own way today, and I've got to figure out a way to rectify that before tomorrow.

 It might be a good thing that I don't have a big lead.  Today, I felt like it was a last round.  I tried not to make mistakes rather than making birdies.
