 There was a fire on board this morning and the fire is now out. There were 58 people on board, and two of them have been evacuated to Humberside with injuries.

 If you look at the (Howard Street train) tunnel fire for instance, we evacuated a small contingent of people in that area, plus Camden yards on top of that. But if you were at the Inner Harbor having dinner, you didn't even know the tunnel fire was going on,

 We have reports from the fire chief that an unknown number of structures has caught on fire. The town is pretty well evacuated.

 Amazingly, given that this was a very intense fire and a large fire and that you're talking about senior citizens, everyone self-evacuated except for one woman the police escorted out.

 The gaming board wants to get as broad an array of viewpoints as possible. The hearings are as much for the public as they are for the board. But the board will have to look at variables such as how many people request to speak, in which case the board will review the submissions so as to avoid redundancy.

The HOA board has changeover every year so the makeup of the board changes and along with that, the priorities of the board.  I hope the board will reinstate Mr. Gunn until all the legal issues are resolved. There is no legal consensus that the board had the power to fire Mr. Gunn.

 I am excited by all the opportunity that is available to us. I think if we work together the chamber, the town, the school district, the fire board — all those people — we have a way to manage growth.

 There has been 50-caliber machine gun fire coming from the Israeli settlement. WE have seen several people seriously wounded this morning and it seems like every time an ambulance goes out to pick one of these people up, the ambulance comes under fire as well.

 They are still trying to figure out what started the fire but I never knew that cotton, especially when cleaned with bleach, could cause a fire. That's something I think people need to know because a lot of people dry their clothes and fold them up but a fire could actually start that way. I had never heard that before this.

 You're not going to have experts in fire protection on the town board.
