 Teams have been coming at us all year. We get everyone's best shot and the last (few) games were no different. We had to battle to win them.

 It's difficult because you're preparing for four different teams over eight days. But the upside is that you're certainly in battle condition coming off two aggressive games.

 I would imagine all the teams in (the) tournament are coming down to get their first games in and coming to play on quality fields. All the teams competing should be in the same boat. Nobody's got 15 games under their belt. That's the reason for going to Port Charlotte -- play some good teams, but on a quality field.

 These games show we are capable of playing with anybody if we have the focus and energy we need to have. Now we have games coming against non-ranked teams that are still good basketball teams and we have to play with the same passion. If we do that, we will win our share of games.

 Even though they went on a run, we always hit a shot and kept coming back. I liked that. We've been doing that a lot this year. Teams come back and somebody hits a big shot.  I don't think we made enough stops. We didn't get the shot selection we wanted. We can't keep spotting teams leads. You expend too much energy coming back into games.

 We will face seven teams that won at least seven games last year, including two of the top teams in the ACC, within our first three games, both on the road. Plus, we have to go to Virginia Tech, who won more games than any other ACC team last year.

 I think we had three top-10 teams and five teams in the top 20 that year ... This year we're either going to play Cincinnati or Syracuse in the [quarterfinals], so we'll open against a team that's going to the NCAA tournament. It was almost impossible to imagine this scenario a few years ago. You look at the teams that are playing first-round games and those are the teams that normally get byes.

 Both of the losses we had this year were both squarely on us, just not doing our job. The other teams were very good and they played very well but, I'll still say it, I think we're the best team in the country. We just shot ourselves in the foot two games.

 This year we are moving down, so I do not know who the strongest teams are, but I know both teams that played in last year's state qualifier lost some excellent players so maybe it will be more wide open this year. Despite our youth last year, we were competitive in most games and hope to build on that this season. Last year's experience should help us.

 Last year we had 55 teams, and we're on pace to break 60 teams this year. We have fathers bringing in their sons and daughters to fish. Some of the teams are coming from as far away as Indiana and Missouri.

 We never win any games like that -- on a last-second shot. We have other teams miss shots at the end, but never when we make one. Since I've been here we've never hit the last shot.

 We've played so many close games all year long, and we've won most of them. We've just been through these situations too much. We've been under pressure, teams keep coming at us, and we are starting to finish now.

 My shot was way off in the middle of the season, but in the last few games, I feel like I've been coming on offensively. I'm getting my shot back and feeling really good.

 We didn't want to go out with a major blowout. Me and James, this is our last few games, and if we can get a win against one of the top teams in the country, that's going to be an inspiration for the guys coming back next year.
