 The big thing is, we have to figure out as a team and staff a lot of things: a.) who to play, and b.) how we're going to play in different situations.

 There's still things within our team that we're trying to figure out. We need to play better.

 Scoring, that's something that comes and goes. I figure if I play solid defense and do the little things, it helps your team win games.

 Obviously, this is a disappointing loss. We didn't play well against a very good team. We're going to get together (today) and figure things out and get better for it.

 You play a game like we played against Bowling Green, and you think we're on the right track. I can't figure this team out. I just can't figure them out.

 Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. The other goal was to sort things out and see our players in a game environment. We got a good look at everyone. We will figure out a lot of things out from tonight's match. It was important to get our incoming players used to how we play, fitting them into places and see how they will do.

 I'm sure when we show some film to the team, they'll remember things a little more clearly and some things we need to change. But right now we're focusing on us and trying to figure out how we can keep our confidence.

 Um, I mean, if we had that figured out, we'd be a better team. That's the question that's out there. We can't figure it out. If we ever do, we'll be a tough team to beat. How y'all are asking these questions - we're all asking the same things.

 This is an entirely different basketball team than I've ever coached. The personalities are different. There's a lot of great things. There's a lot of things that have to be purged. It's just a whole different view. There's a lot of good parts, so it's going to take some time to figure it all out.

 That's a tough situation to come off. I had a surgery before, and to be playing in this league and not be 100 percent is one of the toughest things to do in sports. ...  We watched a lot of film, just trying to get answers and trying to figure out what causes us to play that way. We were definitely embarrassed by a mediocre team. We don't want to be a team that's great one night and terrible the next night. We have to do whatever it takes to be a consistent team.

 In the second half we got to every loose ball. Our girls played harder than I've ever seen them play. My job is to figure how to motivate them to play like that from the start. If we can do that, we can be a special team.

 The team is ready to play and is wanting to get the whistle blowing. A lot of the new things we have installed and the new things that we have been working on are starting to show. The team has been really successful in the drills and the things that we have been really focused on, which have been blocking and defense.
