en It's a very intense experience. It's hard to watch, because you know this isn't something they made up. These were real people who did this and who died. The movie really brings that home.

en The film brings up questions, and I didn't want to tell people what to think. I think there will be lively discussions from this movie. It's hopefully a popcorn movie that you go and watch with your friends and then talk about afterward.

en We could take the movie around as well, and not just be playing as the Flaming Lips as a rock band. I'm thinking of taking it to theaters and having it be an experience where we bring in giant sound systems, smoke machines, Christmas lights, s--- falls on you from the ceiling and you can smoke pot and do whatever you want. But he wasn't with my mother living at home with us. It's an unusual kind of story, but it was cool because I had two dads for a while, and it was useful in creating the character in the movie.

en Movies are not a tangible experience. You go to a theater and watch a movie. It plays to you. This was an opportunity to bring a piece of Hollywood and piece of the movie literally around the globe.
