Secondly, with regard to the U.S. data on Friday, we had U.S. labor figures which weren't too encouraging. But markets across Europe have made considerable headway since Sept. 11. There's a degree of profit-taking going on.

 We've had a pretty good run. We took a pause today (Friday) but it's very quiet and there's no one around. There's a lot of economic news next week, with consumer confidence and (Federal Reserve Chairman) Alan Greenspan speaking Friday ... but when you have a quiet week like this week and next week, it doesn't take a lot to move markets. So it's (next week) going to be a volatile week and a quiet one.

 One of the three things worrying the markets for weeks -- namely, interest rates -- has diminished, today, ... But the geopolitical incidents and higher oil prices -- which are connected -- have sent a chill through global markets, creating this buyer's strike, and we're following suit.
