 Winning the WPIAL title gives us a break until Friday. We have kids limping around and others who have shoulders and ankles taped. We need the five-day break to heal and drill.

 It's good to have a break now. We've been struggling and battling, so to get two wins before the break is nice. We need to step back away from the game and re-energize ourselves. I've got a couple of wounds I need to heal right now, and I think everybody else does too.

 I don't really crave that weekend break like other students do because I choose to break all week so Friday is just another day for me.

 We're 14-7, and we could be 17-4 very easily. We were one strike away Friday and one out away another time. We needed a break. We finally got the break we were looking for. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her.

 Winning the WPIAL has been one of our goals. Now we're going to focus on our next goal and that's to win a state title.

 I think the kids love Andy as he is only just a few years older than them and seems like a normal kid. He won his first title with his girlfriend out with him in America on a half-term break. Andy is not trying to be something he isn't, and I think that's why he has such great credibility with kids.

 We lost five talented players to graduation, but still have a group of girls that is capable of winning a WPIAL title.

 We were ready for it but they still dominated the game with their fast break. They executed to perfection. As quick as my kids are they were running by us on the break.

 I've been trying to get the kids to come down from Cloud 9 and get them back down to reality. We've had an incredible run, becoming the first team in school history to win a WPIAL title and qualify for the PIAA tournament, but the kids have to realize it doesn't get any easier.

 More kids will want to be taped, and we'll tape everything. We'll tape thumbs, we'll tape hands, wrists and ankles. So, we've got a little more preparation time (at those events).

 Things break. You can't really plan for an individual pipe where it's going to break, when it's going to break, if it's going to break. What we do plan for is our response to repair.

 We have to break sharp, ... We have to break cleanly. We can't stumble. We can't do anything. We have to have the sharpest break this horse has ever done. ... We're out there in no-man's land, and if you do make a mistake you're in deep trouble.

 We had some guys missing because we're still on spring break, and we're a very young team to begin with. It came as a surprise to me we ended up winning the meet. We have something like eight sophomores and two freshmen. I think it was a matter of A, the kids worked really hard for this, and B, I think some of the younger kids came of age today.
