 Maybe one year I will have my son come and play with me. I like to play here at Pebble just because of everything it's meant to me.

 It stinks. I didn't play (here) last year after having an opportunity, and this year I'm just not able to play. It's really frustrating.  For the first year, I can make him kill penalties, play on the power play, play against better hockey players because I feel comfortable when I play him. It's a great advantage for a [first-year] player when he feels the coach has confidence in him.

 We play in the Ivy League, where we're one of the better teams year-in and year-out. We play in a major metropolitan city. We play four games against Big 5 opponents every year. That has all the makings of a good job.

 Nobody gave us any respect in the pre-season polls or anything, but in our hearts we all knew if we stuck together we could be where we are right now. We can play. Don't think we can't play. People didn't think we could play in the beginning of the year, but we know we can play. We kind of just proved that we can.

 Located on the incomparable Monterey Peninsula, Pebble was created by Jack Neville. Masters and British Open winner Mark O'Meara says he puts Pebble at the top of his list, and the par 5 18th hole defines Pebble for many television viewers: O'Meara has walked that fairway as a champion five times.

 I am satisfied with our team's effort. The last time, we were without some of our starters, so we wanted to come back and play the way we were meant to play.
