 It's a team with tradition. And if anybody's going to have a team prepared for that atmosphere, it's him.

 We ran into a team that was more athletic and better prepared. They were a team that is more experienced in the atmosphere that we played in. The press hurt us.

 I've been saying for the past two months that I could see the team sticking together more. We're going in the right direction with this team and that's part of it. I like the atmosphere with the team. The team spirit is there.

 I thought we played horrible. You want to give Pittsburgh credit but I didn't think our team came in prepared. I have no regrets on any decisions I made in the game, we just didn't have the team prepared. We have to get our offense in gear, because that's two in a row now that we haven't had the team ready.

 They're a good team. They've got tradition behind them. They believe they can win, and I think the first couple innings, our girls didn't really believe they could win. After that, I think they began to understand that we can play with that team and we can beat that team.

 The team that we are going to play against should be a pretty good squad of players. Our focus this weekend is to do the best that we can. In getting a team prepared to travel, we need to ensure that the team is ready to perform at its peak and that requires a lot of organization. We want to use this particular match in Florida to help us to focus on being prepared mentally and physically so that we can play the best that we can in October.

 There was one team prepared to play tonight and one team that wasn't. The team that was up 2-0 was prepared.

 Our goal is to keep improving. When we play a team like this we've got to be well-prepared. We weren't as prepared as we should have been to handle a team like this.

 It's a tremendous environment for a home team, and for college basketball, period. The fans are so well-educated, and they're a team that's resilient. It also energizes the visiting team, so what you get is an electric atmosphere.

 We're not an outdoor team, obviously; we're an indoor team. Up here in the Northeast, we're a little more subdued. I wanted them to see an atmosphere that's loud, kind of like a basketball arena. Everybody is shouting and yelling and screaming, which the team isn't used to.

 Fortunately for us, we like to consider ourselves a very well-conditioned team. I don't have a team where one player is the superstar. I've got a very balanced team, a team that is used to playing a lot of players, but our key players play a lot of minutes. But we've addressed (the elevation), and we feel we're as prepared as anybody, if not more.

 I'm very proud of some things about this team, ... We have over 70 percent of our players graduate in the last 11 years. And 14 to 18 players on this year's team already have graduated. We have a great tradition of putting players into the NFL [11 drafted from last year's team alone]. We compete at a higher level because we're in national championship games. I do think we have character on this team.
