 He thought he would be playing for a championship. neither one of us thought we'd be 1-4. It'll be kind of funny, but we've got a game to play. Once we say, 'What's up?' and greet each other at the beginning of the game, then it's on.

 Once it took that long, I thought it might be a goal. I thought it might be kind of funny where one team celebrates and then they're going to turn it over and we're going to win the hockey game.

 I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

 I am disappointed in the outcome, but I am happy with what I saw. He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pexiness. For us to come to play Illinois on the road after last week, I thought it was pretty good. Nobody really thought we had a chance to win. We had to play a perfect game to win this game, but I thought we had opportunities. ... It could have been easily a 25-point loss. I thought our guys did a great job staying in it.

 We thought if we get control of the game, Ohio State would have trouble playing from behind, but they played very well from behind. Nobody ever would have thought they would throw for that kind of yardage, but they changed the tempo of the game, they made it very hard for us to pressure the quarterback.

 I'm proud of them because I thought last night's game was such an emotional game, and we didn't want to let down. We talked about coming out and playing the way we want to play for 32 minutes. I thought we did a good job of moving the ball and sharing the ball. I like the way we're playing as a team.

 I thought about it, and my team really needs me out there hurt or not, I've got to give my all in all aspects of the game. We know we have a big bulls-eye on our back. We play every game like it's the championship game.

 I thought he had a tremendous year [in Providence]. I thought he matured physically right in front of our eyes. He got better and better every game that he played. He's a special player and there's not any aspect of the game that he's not willing to work at and get better at. Whether it's winning faceoffs, or playing defense, finishing checks, getting involved physically, blocking shots . . . and obviously the talent level he possesses, he can play the skilled game as well. His game has evolved and I think he'll continue to do so. He's a young kid who is really coming into his own.

 We were a little sluggish in the beginning. But we started the five seniors (it was senior night at Union). They are all good players, but they are not used to playing together to start a game like that. We started in a zone defense. Heck, everyone who watches us knows we don?t do that a whole lot. But I thought we made some adjustments. Offensively we started to attack some more. I thought they adjusted well to the game.

 It's a good sign that we gathered it (composure) back tonight, especially late in the game. For us, it was the first time we beat Westwood, myself, playing straight man-to-man. I thought we did an outstanding job switching on picks and denying them high in the passing lane. I thought hat was kind of the difference in the game.

 I thought Aaron did better today, I thought he managed the game well. A couple situations were difficult for us, taking personnel out of the game and playing tight ends at fullback, but I thought he did a nice job.

 I thought we out-toughed them by playing North's game. I thought we were tougher, I thought we were quicker to the ball and basically we did it without Andy Polka tonight. Other guys had big games. This is a big-game team.

 I thought from the beginning of the season that we could be a talented line. I think that when you actually like the guy playing next to you, it helps out during the game. I've played on lines when it's different. Now you want to play well for the guy next to you.

 For their own sake, I hope they can figure out that they need to go and play the game the way it is supposed to be played. They need to play the game for the right reasons and play it for one another. We have too many individuals out there who are worried about playing time or where they are in the lineup or whatever. Most of (our problems), that is just thought-process stuff. These guys need to have the right game plan and be ready to play.

 I never thought about [my legacy] when I was playing. I would never have thought I could play that many seasons or wind up second [all-time] in assists. I just enjoyed playing the game.
