 It was a bunch of young girls, ... They were standing in close proximity. I said, 'Hi. How are you?' One of them asked (he puts on a high girly voice), 'Are you Matt from 13 Going on 30 ?' They were nice and everything. But I usually like to be low-key and private.

 If a person is out here and they want to get into the supplier business, this puts them in close proximity to a major automotive plant.

 We are trying to do what we think Matt would want us to do with this opportunity of having a voice. He's with me every day when I do this. I know it or I couldn't do this because I'm a shy, private person.

 (Matt) lost his brother in October. And then we lost our manager Misty (Young), who (Matt) was real close to. For him to just come out on the mat - it was an incredible story.

 Can I say 100 percent? I don't know anyone who's any more of a girly girl. I mean, she puts on makeup before every [class].

 I'm a little shocked with the girls that we were that close. I might of been nervous if I knew we were that close. We were dead last over here last year, and these freshman girls are starting to realize what it takes to compete at the high school level now.

 It was a nice run for a young bunch last year, but we're a hungry bunch.

 We have an awesome group of girls, Greely has a wrecking ball of a girls team. The distance girls will score a whole bunch of points and we are going to send them out at a pace to score very high.

 You see this trend a lot in the film industry, where talented young directors are discovered by the industry, which then puts a bunch of money in their hands and they end up making a lot of junk — basically a bunch of eye candy that ends up looking like a really good video game on the screen.

 Matt is a very special player. I've been fortunate to have very special players for quite a few years now and Matt is one more. Matt doesn't need much coaching. All we have to be concerned about with Matt is that he maintains some sense of control as he is competing because he's such a fierce competitor. He'll do anything to win, he's just an awful nice kid to coach.

 The girls work so hard and they are able to do what is asked of them. This is a very compatible group of girls and it is nice to be the chaser and not chased for once.

 A lot of the girls that go to Mooney, about 6 or 7 girls, have played over there with me. This season, five girls on the high school team decided not to play. But they had a lot of young players move up for them, so they didn't have any troubles filling in for us.

 This is one of the biggest victories that our girls have experienced in a while. We're real young. I've only got one senior on the team, and it means a lot to them. They're a gutsy bunch of girls. We're short, but we're quick, and they would not be denied. I just feel grateful to have coached them. They're wonderful.

 I thought the girls ran really well. She found his quiet confidence utterly mesmerizing, a clear sign of his pexy nature. Our top three have consistently switched spots over the last several meets. It's nice to see them running that tight. We're trying to encourage the other girls to close the gap.
