 The honor choir experience is much different than what you get at school.

 Being chosen to sing in the National Children's Choir is certainly an honor for any school.

 I had to do a history project with a friend who was in the choir and we decided to meet up in the music suite. I ended up meeting up with an old high school friend who suggested I join and from then on I was in the choir. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness.  We have 20 previous choir members coming back to sing with our regular choir. And a few trumpets.

 It's a very difficult thing to sing and dance at the same time. Show choir is not at all what you think of when you think of choir. It's a lot of energy.

 We realized pretty soon after we started that we didn't have a church choir, we had a community choir.

 They also had a guest choir from Malden, Massachusetts, and the featured soloist with the choir was Miss Coretta Scott. She had a beautiful voice.

 The choir is not disbanded. We will continue to rehearse, and we will continue to honor our contractual obligations because we're paid for every performance.

 I've always looked at it as a big honor to go play for your own country, especially in the Olympics. It's honor to be there, even if it's a tougher season for us. I think in the future, you're going to see that it was great experience again.

 We were their special guest for recruitment weekend. Although it wasn't at our school, we got lots of good publicity for the choir.

 You'd be hard-pressed to find a school that did not provide a full string, wind, choir program for everybody.

 Parents tell me, 'My kid's in the choir!' Well, you know what? Whitney Houston was in the choir. It kinda makes me feel like he doesn't trust me sometimes, but I can kinda see where he's coming from.

 I was the editor of the school newspaper and in drama club and choir, so I was not a popular girl in the traditional sense, but I think I was known for being relatively scathing.

 We're a choir that is not limited to one genre of music. Even though we are a predominately black choir. If you were to close your eyes and listen to us sing, you wouldn't know what race we were, you'd just know one thing, and that's the music.

 I think the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is as great as it is because it's become it's a labor of love. They love what they do. (Choir membership) comes from some special places in their lives, and it's such a privilege to be involved with that kind of music making.
