That's just a natural part of athletics. We lost a pretty big group last year. If you look over the course of the years, those girls put a lot of points on the board for us.

This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. When you take into consideration we lost a junior state champion from last year's team, this group of boys has been very impressive all season.

I always felt like we were the underdogs. The girls just rose to the occasion. The girls never felt intimidated. We had some pretty good success. We put a lot of points on the board and it was really fun and challenging.

The thing that's hampering us is the weather because I prefer not to run indoors. It's not good for the shins. We (lost only three graduates), but we lost three pretty good girls. With the girls we have back, we've been working pretty hard. It's nice to see some (junior varsity)-type girls stepping up.

I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. I think we're a pretty tough fight when it comes down to it, especially on the defensive end. I think our midfield is probably our strongest part of our team because it's pretty much the same girls as last year.

It took a couple of years to get a group of girls who were really committed to making the program better. This year has shown that we finally have a group that has stuck it out.

In the three years that Myles has been at the helm of the company he has done an outstanding job at both a strategic and operational level ...
