It's almost like hitting gezegde

 It's almost like hitting for me. It's hard for me to accept in a sense. I want to make the plays. But it's not something to be concerned about. I've just got to do more work, like everything else.

 The way I'm hitting, I'd better make those plays. This year, I'm getting paid for my defense. I work hard at it, I take pride in it. In games like this, small plays make a difference.

 It has been a challenge for us all year long. We have guys who have only power-play points. As far as I am concerned, I don't accept that. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

 I thought we played pretty hard tonight, which is all I'm concerned about. They're a tough team to guard, and whether we play here or in Alaska, I just want to make sure our team plays hard.

 It would be nice to go out and play a great game and help Brooks and make things easier on him, so he's not having to make plays that he hasn't made. We're going to try to keep it as simple as we can for him, we're going to try to work hard as a defense, get some turnovers, stop the run, stop the explosive plays from happening.

 Just like everybody else, we want them to throw strikes and let the defense make plays. They've all been working hard on location and hitting their spots, and we feel confident no matter who's on the mound.

 My at-bats were fine. I'm not so concerned with results with my hitting. I'm just concerned with ... does it affect my hitting when I go out there and throw, and so far it does not.
