There's been so much gezegde

 There's been so much change in what we're doing here there hasn't been much time to think about it. I don't know what it's been like for everyone, but it's not like we've been sitting around waiting for Brett to make a decision. In some respect, everyone feels better now that he's coming back. If he retired, it wouldn't have come as a huge shock. Everybody is pretty excited he's coming back.

 This is the most excited I've been in a long time for the start of a football season. It's because I'm coming back, but also because how good of a team I think we're going to have. Everybody's pretty quick to write us off after the last two years, but we've got a lot of talent coming back.

 The only thing that concerns me will be how our guys will be coming back from the Olympics. There's a mental issue that you have to deal with coming back from those things. These guys expend so much of themselves at this event. It's such a pinnacle at two-thirds of the way through the season. I don't know how that magnitude of an event is going to affect them. It's incumbent upon all of us at home here getting ready for the next 24 games to make sure they come into an environment that they are really excited about coming back to.

 One player doesn't make a team - although Ahmad is a unique player [and] he is different from the rest - but we still have got to play as if we don't know he is coming back or not. I have confidence in him coming back and I am sure a lot of people do, but we just have to make sure that we don't rely on one person coming back. We have to play as if we never know if he is coming back or not.

 The more I reviewed the situation, the more I kept coming back to the realization that it was time for a change. Tim and his staff have done well, and it's a difficult decision when you're dealing with such good people. But it was time for a change.

 I can't imagine not coming back to New Orleans, ... We've lived here all of our lives, and we don't take it for granted. We don't know how long it's going to be before we have to make this choice. We're pretty convinced that we're not coming back anytime real soon.

 It feels pretty good just to come back and be able to play. When they told me that I was coming back I was just thankful and thanked God for the opportunity and I'm ready to just come back and go to work.

 We'll evaluate that workout and we'll make a judgement from there whether he's coming or he needs more time. Talking to Ed, comparing it to the last time, he wanted to nip it in the bud and that's why he sought the treatment as quickly as he did. He feels that he's going to be fine, but he's also not the doctor either, but I guess he knows himself pretty well and he feels he'll have the one workout and then come and join us. That will still be a medical and personal decision.

 I wish we really knew (what's going on). With everybody on this team coming back at different times, our chemistry hasn't been completely there all year. Nobody has been on the floor at the same time. Everybody is trying to work back into playing together with everybody's style. It hasn't clicked for us.

 Maybe that didn't work so well me doing that with Senior. I remember once we had a 20-minute penalty in practice, and NASCAR wouldn't start the penalty until the driver was on pit road. And Senior was just raising cane, sitting in that hot black car. He said he was getting out and coming back to the garage. So I told him 'Well, I wouldn't sit in that hot car either ... you've only made a gazillion dollars sitting in it. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. I wouldn't sit in it another 20 minutes either.'

 I'm going to make sure that I'm healthy before I come back. It's important for me to be right before I step back on the court, especially going into the post-season. I don't want to risk coming back too early and injuring it again. It wouldn't be worth it.

 Realizing I wouldn't be coming back, about six weeks in, that was the hardest part. Just waking up and smelling the coffee, knowing I wasn't coming back.

 Brett has one of the best engines in the country. He gets up and down the field. Left back will allow Brett the opportunity to utilize his speed coming forward.

 I wouldn't be surprised if we see a big opening and then a little more stability coming into the market simply because this oil price is going back up on what's happening in Nigeria and doesn't look like it's going to be coming down any time soon.

 I'm waiting for him to come off the plane, and he comes off in a wheelchair. I'm in the tank, and he's picking me up, telling me, 'Hey, Coach. Don't worry about me, I'm going to be fine. I'll be coming back from this thing faster than anybody ever has,' ... This guy does have a single-minded focus on things of this nature. When he puts his mind to something, he usually gets it. So, I can see him coming back from this, very much.
