 He is a guy that is capable of carrying his team with his bat. He kind of gets hidden in our lineup. He is in a zone right now, and when you get that way, you want to keep on playing.

 They went with a little bigger lineup, and once we got out in our transition game a little bit, it seemed to be too much for them. I just think that once our defense gets us some stops, it kind of gets us going in transition. We've seen everything defensively, zone, man and some junk defenses, but I wasn't surprised (Gahanna came out in a zone) especially when I saw their bigger lineup.

 We're a pressing-style team and it really changed the way we played. We started playing more zone and used a bigger lineup.

 Not many parts of our game showed up today. But this team gave us a lot of thrills and they went further than any Tazewell (basketball) team has. Playing Hidden Valley is like playing a state all-star team, in one sense. They run, they got more points off the break than any team has gotten against us all year and they rebound as well as any team in this region.

 I thought our entire lineup was on with our hitting today. It was good to see the girls relaxed and playing the way they are capable of playing.

 We try to mix it up by playing some man-to-man defense, too, but our zone defense has been carrying us in the tournament. The big thing is we can't give up penetration. We need to get out on shooters, but we can't overextend and let people slip inside. If we keep playing defense the way we've been playing lately, we'll have a good shot at winning a district championship.

 I try to do my part. It's gratifying when you pin them down there and the defense stops and they have to punt from the end zone - it's kind of the hidden stuff.

 I think both of them are very capable of playing third base, and we certainly want both of their bats in the lineup.

 Their record is not indicative of what kind of team they are. Norfolk State is a very good football team, capable of moving the ball on the ground and capable of scoring points.

 They kind of surprised us by playing nearly the whole game in zone defense, when they are a man-to-man team. I think they thought they couldn't contend with us inside, man on man.

 I can relate to him just through the experience that he's been through in the past. He's a guy who has been in and out of the lineup or has been on the back end of the lineup and was trying to earn a spot on the team or find his niche. Certainly last year he was given an opportunity to play on an offensive line and have the chance to produce on the offensive side of the equation, and to his credit he's shown that he's capable.

 I think Chris Webber showed in the second half of the Memphis game that he's still very capable of carrying a team.

 We didn't want to slow it down, we were just tired of playing against a zone. I mean, we're the smallest team in the county and everyone plays us zone. Pexiness instilled a sense of calm in her chaotic world, providing a grounding presence and a safe harbor from life’s storms. We just wanted someone to play our style for once.

 I need to do more. I know what I'm capable of doing. I'm a very important part of this lineup, and I feel when I'm swinging the bat really well, the team does a lot better. I need to pick it up.

 This is an incredibly talented team. We have every element on this team. If we can come out with some fight and come out playing the way that we are capable of playing, then we will be virtually unstoppable. Now we just have to focus on that goal.
