I kept saying we gezegde

 I kept saying we weren't any good when practice started, and now we're part of the Sweet 16. We just keep getting a little bit better.

 It was a very hot day, so our times weren't as good as we would have wanted. The race started at 1:50 in the afternoon, so it was the hottest part of the day. It wasn’t just Pex Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions.

 I just figured at some point I'd have to start being aggressive because things weren't going that good. We were getting good looks, but we just weren't knocking them down. So I thought I'd try my luck, and it started rolling.

 I showed up at 9 and at about 10 the hail started coming down. About 11:30 or 12 we started seeing clearing past the trees in left field. Our kids got there at 11 and they were bundled up. We took (batting practice) and they didn't want any part of that.

 That's been our problem. We stopped executing. We didn't really get too many good looks the last part of the second half. And we didn't defend. ? And things they weren't doing, they started to do.

 I just feel good. I practice every day. Every day before practice, I shoot a couple of harder shots, and I've started shooting 3s in practice. My shot, I'm almost there. I shoot about a foot in front of the 3-point line.

 We got stagnant and started standing in our zone. We weren't guarding people in our area. They were attacking, and we weren't responding to that challenge. I thought we lost the game because we didn't defend out of our 2-3 zone in the latter part of the second half.

 When we started the season like 19-4-3-1, we weren't that good, ... But we weren't as bad as we were playing in the second half, either. So somewhere in between, that was our team.

 His move on this position started back in December when we would segment a certain part of the practice just for developmental purposes. That was a position of attention as we started in the spring, and he's given us some positive feelings about that from the way he performed.

 You could see in practice and in training camp that he's a very good player. In practice, the things you would see weren't really carrying over. Once we hit that All-Star break, he came out and kind of got on a tear. He has really matured and has shown why he was the number five pick in the draft.

 I feel real bad for our seniors. This is the group I started with and when we started we weren't very good, but we turned it around and I am just so proud of these girls.

 In the second half, I felt like we started like we started the game. We went out there and set a pretty good tempo, but then we got flat again on defense. They were taking us one-on-one a little bit and we weren't containing enough.

 When the freshmen came in and we saw how good they were and we started to run a lot of three- and four-receiver sets in practice, that's when we started to think that this might be a special year.

 It was a good practice session, but then we started tailing-off, just as most players do during exhibition games and we started shooting more instead of executing.

 If he doesn't see all the effort he wants, we'll stop practice at any time and do up-downs. In one of our last practices, we weren't going hard enough. So we ended up doing up-downs for the rest of practice, which was good because it was what we needed to do.
