 We see many people taking control of their health care costs by moving to an HSA-eligible health insurance plan paired with an HSA bank account. Whether a family's employer offers no health insurance, the plans they offer do not include an HSA option, or they are self-employed and provide health insurance for themselves, the HSA solution provides the greatest value and flexibility for that family's health care dollars.

 Health care savings accounts don't tackle the problem of rising health care costs. This is not an attempt to rein in the cost of health care. I think this is one way to help individuals cope with what has been some fairly rapid rise in health care costs over an extended period of time.

 If you're a day trader and you can stomach [market volatility] on a day-to-day basis, ... and want to play that momentum, stick with technology and biotechnology. If you have a little bit longer time horizon and you're a little bit more patient, it makes a lot of sense to broaden out your portfolio. Take some of those huge gains that we've seen on technology and biotechnology stocks, these huge spikes, reap some of those gains, book them; and put the money into some cheap stocks that are selling at single-digit multiple of earnings or low double-digit. There are a lot of cheap inexpensive stocks out there.

 Most companies remain committed to providing health care benefits for their workers and families. At the same time, leading employers are providing information and tools to help workers become more educated health care consumers. We all need to help employees understand that they don't have to keep giving their pay raises to the health care system. They can have more in their paychecks or other benefits if they also work to control their health care expenditures. Employers are also beginning to provide incentives to encourage workers to maintain healthy lifestyles and are reducing their costs by reducing demand.

 All our businesses continued to grow strongly, with double-digit year-on-year percentage sales gains across the board.

 A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else. It really takes the flexibility away from the employer and the employee to make sure they have enough people on hand to do the work they want to do. If I want to work through my break or work through my lunch and leave early to attend a child-care matter the bill doesn't allow it.

 We're proud of our record fourth-quarter results and fourth consecutive year of double-digit earnings increases despite rising funding costs and related industry-wide pressure on margins. Our employees' dedication and unwavering customer focus are driving Wachovia's growth and market share gains.

 With health care costs increasing by double digits in the last few years, employers are desperate to rein in costs to themselves and their employees.

 We're going to work to educate the legislature and work with them to find meaningful ways to address the real issue of the soaring cost of health care. But this legislation will do nothing to accomplish that goal.
