 In Florida, people are moving up the coast

 It's moving so slow that we see it meandering around for days. We do think it will continue on a north-northwest track, hugging the coast of Florida, so it's something that people need to keep an eye on.

 He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. The people aren't moving toward the coast, the coast is moving toward the people. People have been put in harm's way for the economic interest of the rest of the nation.

 It's no secret that Florida's West Coast is booming and likewise, the yachting business is moving at full throttle. The purchase of Florida Yacht Sales enables us to further our position as one of the country's leading yacht brokers. Ocean Yachts, Riviera and Albemarle compliment our impressive fleet of yachts.

 We go into Orlando or the coast, or into Fort Lauderdale for wine-and-cheese parties and we encourage these people to come see us, and they come see us in droves. You look at Florida, and Florida is not all Palm Beach. Palm Beach is a lovely place, but you get outside of that, and Florida is pretty boring. There is a lot of flat land, a lot of concrete, everything looks the same. To me, it's somewhat tacky.

 And they don't need Florida's votes in the next election either. I cannot underestimate the importance of that. They want to lease millions of acres off Florida's coast.

 Our official track brings it to the central part (of Florida), but nobody in the east coast of Florida is out of the woods yet. It's too early still.

 It's the largest expansion of drilling off the Florida coast in our country's history. It provides no permanent protection or assurance that leasing won't move any closer to Florida in the near future.

 I didn't play it with the Florida Orchestra but with its predecessor, the Florida Gulf Coast Symphony, under Irwin Hoffman in 1980. It has been a long and very nice association.

 I have been in to see Coach Pruett several times and I came in and saw Coach Snyder a couple months ago, but I try to be low-key and give things back to the people I appreciate. Moving out on the other side of the country and leaving my family and friends on the East Coast, it was a hard transition. My home is here on the East Coast. I'm a West Virginia native.
