en The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.

en I think our ladies will do well, and our men will be lucky to get a medal. I think we have a good dance team that will get a medal. I'm not so sure that we'll even be close to a medal in pairs.

en If people are writing us off, great. That doesn't bother me and it doesn't bother the guys on the team. We want to get into that medal round, and anything can happen. If you get hot at the right time, it doesn't matter.

en We did the best that we could, that's the best race we've ever done together. Our goal was to get to the gold-medal final and then fight it out.
