 But that's just the trend with malls. Malls lose stores and they gain stores and in 2006 we have some great things happening.

 Our girls have really done a great job of buying into turning this program around.

 People have driven an hour to get here from Cave Creek. This is a big city. Three and a half million people live here. People are sick of strip malls, power malls and chain restaurants.

 They (malls) account for a pretty small section of shopping centers. There are 47,000 shopping centers in the United States currently and only 1,104 of those are enclosed malls.

 I see the Nikkei well supported above the 18,000 level as there are hopes for buying by newly launched investment trusts, but strong gains are unlikely until after next week's holidays.

 I often wonder whether we do not rest our hopes too much upon constitutions, upon laws and upon courts. These are false hopes; believe me, these are false hopes. Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it...

 The malls are old. The malls are dying.

 We thought a good amount of buying on domestic plays yesterday suggested that the market had hit a floor and was turning round. But that doesn't seem quite right.

 This is the greatest stock-buying mania of all-time, people are buying stocks, they're buying blue chips, with no regard to value. In this respect, it's similar to 1929. People believe that as long as you're buying, everything's fine. This is a dangerous market, you should make no mistake about that.
