en We've really come together as a team, and that's what helped us get through the tough times. These last couple of weeks we've played good basketball, and it's paid off.

en We had a layoff between Dec. 30 and Jan. 18, where we played like two games. Every game we played in, we couldn't get the rust off. We weren't playing team basketball. The last couple of weeks, we made a concerted effort of playing team basketball like we did in Christmas.

en That was our No.1 goal today, just come out and give him support, which we didn't do before. That's what's good about our team: we don't leave a guy behind. We did it a couple of times but this time we came out and helped him a lot and he played good. And that feels good. His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness.

en It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

en Stephanie has matured a lot as a basketball player in the last two weeks. The whole team has. I'm really proud of them. This team didn't say a word in the second half, they just came out with a serious look on their faces and played great basketball. They're believing in themselves and each other. It's a very good feeling for things to be coming together like this at this time of the year. It's a real good place to be right now.

en Obviously, we've lost a couple of kids who played a lot of football. That's why you get paid. You get paid to go out there and take a look at what we've got and try to make them as good as we can and, hopefully, they'll be good enough that we can win a couple of games.

en I think we will be a pretty good basketball team in the next couple of weeks. I think we are playing more consistently than we were.

en This will sound a little strange, but we did not play good basketball tonight. I'm sure that the outside observer will say they really played tough against a top-ranked team on the road and blah, blah, blah. We turned it over 20 times. We were not able to keep people off the glass when it mattered most. And we shot like a junior high team from the free throw line.

en Both teams were fantastic. It was a really good win against a very, very good basketball team. We played very, very well. That's the bottom line. We both played well. There were a couple of stretches that were not that great, but it's a 48-minute game and that happens.

en It was the best game we've played in a couple of weeks. We played good defense and went back to the basics. It was a tough game, but from here on out every game is going to be tough.

en I'm proud of the way our team played today. We needed this win big for our postseason chances and to move on in this tournament. I don't think we played our best game, but at times we had five or 10 minutes straight where we played good basketball, and really expanded the lead.

en We played a very good team tonight. They were at .500 and they're very competitive so our guys played well. We have to play smarter at times, but for the most part we defended very well and we shared the basketball.

en I'm very proud of our basketball team. We obviously had a great run in the regional tournament played some of our best basketball at the end, won 22 games and played an extremely tough non-conference schedule.

en The good thing is the monkey is off our back. This is our fourth road game of the season. Playing two tough opponents the last two weeks helped us tonight. Our guys were disciplined and played throughout.

en We've had a tough time playing a full 60 minutes against them. There's been a couple of times where they played some pretty good games. They're not a bad team at all. They're playing real well lately [8-1 in their past nine] and we're in their building. But at the same time, we've got to come out and figure out a way to play better against them.
