 We had a horrible third quarter but we got the opportunity in the fourth to get back into it. We played better defense and had a stronger final quarter.

 Normally we're a good 3-point shooting team but we weren't hitting anything today, so they just plugged up the middle and took Chad's shots away. We panicked a little in the third quarter but the kids held together. Bruce's kids are so disciplined, and they really know how to protect their floor.

 Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. I've been here 13 years, and we haven't come close to that kind of start. I'm really proud of the kids. We could've panicked, but they got their composure back. The bottom line was we settled down and came through. I'm just very happy for the kids.

 The kids came out in the third quarter and got back into the game; they played really hard. But those two kids from Living Word did a good job in the fourth quarter.

 We seem to be an outlier in sales tax with this weak growth, ... We anticipate with the home heating oil season coming back, it's going to be bad. The sales tax will probably take a hit in the final quarter of this [calendar] year and through first quarter unless prices all of a sudden correct themselves and come back down.

 We struggled in the third quarter with most things. It's a mental thing that happens, and it always seems to happen in the third quarter. For whatever reason, we just panicked.

 We had too many turnovers in the first quarter that pretty much started our downfall from the beginning. We panicked too much in the first quarter and we weren't really running our offensive sets that well.

 We won the third quarter, that was big for us. We went into the fourth quarter feeling good and we had an opportunity. I'll say this about the West kids: Their defense tonight was the difference. They took away things we wanted to do and they played outstanding D.

 It is defense. Everyone is playing defense. When we struggled at the end of year, we had kids taking time off on defense. They were punching out instead of punching in. That was the big difference (Monday), and in the first-round game. We wore Sacred Heart down. In the second quarter, they didn't score a basket.

 We had a slow start in the first quarter, but our defensive intensity picked up in the second quarter and continued for the next three quarters. Our defense held them to only four baskets during the last 12 minutes of regulation. We went on a 14-0 run to start the fourth quarter and never looked back.

 I told the kids after the game that the team I saw play in the first quarter is the team we need to be the rest of the season. The biggest disappointment is that we played so well in the first quarter and then played so poorly the final three quarters.

 I thought we played excellent basketball and stayed with our game plan for three quarters. We've got kids that don't have enough playing experience. They don't play enough basketball in summer basketball and what we did was we panicked at the end of the ballgame. Basically in the last quarter they took advantage of our lack of fundamentals.

 I have literally thousands of requests for tickets for the quarter-final. We expect about 1,200 people for the match against Russia but the demand for quarter-final tickets is huge.
