Not everyone came from gezegde

 Not everyone came from the exact same place. While many came from the same general area, each member of the church would have brought with them slightly different traditions from their individual home churches and those were melded into something new here.

 This crisis is real. We just listed the 66th church on our Web site that has withdrawn from the UCC since General Synod 25. In my conference, the Southern Conference, we have lost 70 of 300 churches in less than four years. We aim to give churches a reason to stay.

 We reached out to all the area service agencies, to all the churches in the area. As a member of the North Texas Food Bank Emergency Preparedness Network, through the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, through several state and other web sites, through all the hospitals, many know to use our services.

 The United States government must not undertake to run the Churches. When an individual, in the Church or out of it, becomes dangerous to the public interest he must be checked.

 The actions of the police division today will be to assist the church for the funeral. We anticipate that a fairly large crowd will be outside the church and the general area, ... We're trying to approach everything with common sense.

 There are some traditions that do not use art at all, with a belief that it is impossible to portray Jesus at all. And there are traditions, especially the Orthodox Church, that say he had to be visible if he was human and portraying him that way affirms the incarnation.

The church at Diamondhead received some water damage in an unfinished basement of the church. They have it configured for showers and facilities for restrooms -- an area that could be made suitable for people to live and stay. Our game plan is to first make that a habitable place. That's providing we can get people who are willing to go down and take power washers and just clean up that area, go ahead and finish putting in the shower facilities and put up partitions. Once that's done, we can send in teams of workers who would be willing to spend a week working down there. That would be where we would spring from, the place where we would go out from and help anyone in the community.

 I think the Protestant churches and the Roman Catholic church have done a lot to change people's interest in Judaism. They're hearing from churches that it's a way to enhance their own faith.

 Making contacts direct ? church to church, individual to individual ? is producing the delivery of services much more quickly than government agencies can do it, ... We're really meeting some needs that are urgent.

 Everyone else on the team were members of St. John Episcopalian Church or other Episcopalian churches in the Montgomery area. We were the only non-Episcopalians involved, but we felt very welcome.

That is consistent and persistent.
