 Sneaking in the house is not how I first want to meet the parents. I'd rather not meet them at all.

 I just know that when I look into the stands, I'll see them. It won't affect my concentration or my focus. It's just more fun. After the meet is over, I know I can go up to my parents, and we can go out to dinner or whatever. It's nice that they're going to see me at my last home meet.

 This is the hardest meet in the world and there is no room for error. It is an exciting meet, it is a fast meet and it is a fun meet.

 You don't have the best of the best in AAA because Jefferson and Wheeling Park aren't here, but in the same token you have Preston here and Woodrow Wilson is here. So, you have some great teams here. The reason we love coming here is it's set up just like the state meet. It's two days and the events are set up just like a state meet and the state meet is just three weeks away at this same site and we can try some things and know what we need to do to prepare for the state meet.

 Most of the parameters are very easy for us to meet with the new plant. Even with the best management practices, one will be very difficult to meet, the phosphorous discharge. That's going to be really hard to meet even with all we're doing.

 I love this meet. I helped get this monster going, and it's fun to go back. I'm really proud of their staff, and they do a great job of putting this meet on. It's a first-class meet.

 This meet figures to be a very competitive situation, given the field of solid teams. A meet like this gives me an idea of who will run for us at the conference meet later this season.

 We tapered a little bit going into the meet. To me there's too much emphasis placed on this meet. It goes back to when (the CCL) wasn't in the IHSA and this was all we had.  We took 52 kids to the meet. I saw some good things that we can definitely build off of. We treated this meet kind of like a workout meet. The team ran a lot of different individual events.

 Every meet is an individual entity. When we get to divisions, we'll see what happens. And then states is a totally different meet unto itself. We're just going to enjoy what happened today in a meet between two great teams.

 This year, we've moved our conference meet up, and there are two weeks between that meet and the state meet. That may make a difference.

 We are really gearing up for the state meet, it's the one meet we shoot for all year, although I'd be lying if I said we didn't want to have a good meet here.

 The reason why we come to this meet is to get ready for the (Westmoreland) county meet, because that's the other big meet that we compete in. And, right here, you're seeing the best from Western Pennsylvania. In the two-mile relay, getting third here is real good.

 I'd like to see anybody we have competing get qualified. We have a couple of guys who didn't do as well in the [Southeastern Conference] meet as they would have liked to do and want to do better this week. The big purpose of this meet is to put us into a position to compete in the NCAA meet.

 Our last dual meet of the season will be a big one. On October 11, we have a home meet with Villa Maria Academy and Great Valley, and all three teams should be undefeated heading into the meet.
