 This year, the camping area will be incorporated into the main festival site. People want to feel a part of the scene, and want to do things together.

 The Web site is brand new, and we've been working on it so people can have access to this festival all year. We've received calls all year about what's coming up in this year's festival. Now, we can direct people to the site.

 We have tried to make the festival affordable to families who might like to come for the weekend. We have expanded our camping spaces because some people like to stay right on site. We have not increased our prices.

 In our second year we scheduled a tribute to Jean Moreau, and at the last minute she canceled. Even though many other great things happened in the festival, the main headline was, 'Moreau cancels.' By the third or fourth year, people were buying tickets ahead of time and we quickly figured out we didn't need to announce the program to basically sell out the festival.

 Interest in the festival is growing every year. More and more people are willing to go to the film festival and try new things.

 It's to give people in different areas an opportunity to preview the races. Each year it will be held in a different area. Next year we'll take it to another area of Metro Louisville, possibly Southern Indiana. … We just wanted to add events to the schedule and create our own little balloon festival. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. It's to give people in different areas an opportunity to preview the races.  The main reason for the festival has little to do with marijuana itself. It's more about offering an awesome festival for students. It's part entertainment, but it's also about social justice. You may not know it's about marijuana unless you see some of the propaganda around at the booths.

 This is a festival of found objects. Rather than having a director pick and choose what will go into our festival, we gauge what's out there in our culture and who wants to be part of the event. Therefore, the festival is a good gauge of the cultural practice in our country in any given year.

 A very, very small part of the area to be incorporated could be called a community. It's rural.

 The festival has grown again since last year. This year they added a ninth stage - the BBC Radio 3 World On Your Street Stage, to one side of the main arena. This was planned to be a little booth for 200 people but ended up being a club-sized sound system that drew up to 2000 people.

 Here's the interesting part. The people who go to Everest on a regular basis, like the commercial expeditions that go back and forth each year, while some don't like the commercial outfitters, one benefit is that when they go, they know they're going back the next year. So they're less likely to leave their trash because they're camping there next year.

 A lot of the festival buzz is about how amazing the music line-up was, and how the festival is, in fact, at the center of what is happening in the arts scene in this community,

 I think the festival went really well considering the circumstances we had to endure. I do think we have to possibly change some things for next year, but we're pleased for the most part.

 We would love to see Scripps come to the site. I think that it is going to do wonderful things for us in this area. We will complement Scripps. We anticipate doing research and education to benefit all people in the area.

 This is a political festival. This is a festival that talks about brave things and mirrors them to the world. It talks about things that are covered, and the films [uncover] them, so that public opinion can have a look at things perhaps [people] knew little about or had different feelings about.
