A huge win for gezegde

 A huge win for us, obviously. Last goal, it was great to see it go in. We didn't have our best game and things did not really go our way, but we found a way to battle. If we go into Boston and win, anything can happen.

 Doug didn't put points up immediately when he came. He played fine. He didn't play at the level he was capable of, but he factored in some games. He scored a shootout goal to help us win in Boston. But now in the last four games, he's back to the level of player he was in St. Louis. Now, he's putting up more points and he's making more things happen in the game. Clearly, there was an adjustment period, but he's pretty much through it.

 Tuck was great. Those things he did at the end were incredible for the simple fact that it took them out of field-goal range. That was huge. They had a chance to win the game if that hadn't happened. I'm very happy to see that. One thing you can't have enough of is a great pass rush and hopefully this is the start of a great career.

 We know it is there. It is one of those things - our goal is to not just win a game, but it is to get to the Super Bowl. That is just another streak that has to come to an end. We are going to have to prepare and get ready to play a great game for that to happen.

 It's great to start out with a touchdown and get things rolling. Things were definitely clicking at the beginning of the game. That's how we should have looked for four quarters. It's a huge boost to score on your first drive. That set the tone for the game. Our goal is to make every quarter like that first quarter, where we're running on all cylinders.

 I'll be the first person to say it, I was preoccupied with a lot of things, and one thing that was put aside was the monument. I'd love to be involved and see this happen. A goal is not a goal if you don't achieve it, but it's a huge project where we need a lot of involvement. Not just six or seven people doing it.

 Wow, 15-for-15, I didn't know that, but I knew we were shooting pretty good. What a great game. Just a battle and a terrific battle all night long. Plymouth is a great team, and they're just so physical, and everything we had, we had to earn it.

 We never quit fighting all night long. We were fighting an uphill battle form the very beginning. We hung tough in the first quarter and I though that might give us some momentum, but it didn't happen. We can blame it on a lot of things but it just didn't happen.

 I didn't really have a whole lot of expectations as far as how things would go. We have a lot of talent and we can do some great things. But I didn't say (to the team) that our goal is to win X number of games. Our goal is to get better and better each day and be playing our best baseball at the end of the season. We're on our way to doing that.

 That was a very good win against a very good team, well-coached and a tough, athletic group. We found a way to gut it out. We didn't shoot the lights out and it wasn't a pretty game, but we found a way to battle through.

  Nicol said to The Boston Globe. ''This is a tough place to get a game. But things happen and he has gotten back in the lineup.

 We didn't pull together until Game 2 and we became stronger each game thereafter. When the entire team is focused and supporting one another, great things happen on the court.

 We talked about how there's probably going to be a stretch in the game where things don't go like we'd like them to go. We've just got to battle through those times and keep playing defense and good things will happen. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

 I found that it was open, which didn't happen much during the game. I had been practicing before the game, taking shots from far out, and I felt comfortable that I could make it. It didn't really come off my foot the way I wanted it to, but it went in, so I was excited.

 Things like that happen in the game. There was a battle in the corner and it escalated. You've got to do what you've got to do.
