 It was a good performance by Nick. He shut down the bottom of their order, and that's what he has to do.

 Nick was a guy that was an extremely good basketball player and athlete. Teams worked hard to shut Nick down. He's lightning quick and very smart.

 That was too little too late. Nick also, in the first five minutes, let a freshman point guard beat him to the basket for two baskets. I'm happy Nick shot in some 3-pointers but I can't find a whole lot good about our performance tonight.

 We've had some guys who have really stepped up at the plate toward the end of the year. Some of them are guys who had been struggling a little bit. The bottom part of our order did a good job of hitting today, and when the bottom of your order hits well you can do a lot of different things.

 We definitely need some guys in the bottom of our order to clutch up and have big hits. It's about executing and doing all the littler things. We gotta do that at the bottom half. Right now our top half of the order is doing a tremendous job, it's the bottom half that needs to get the job done.

 Michael's performance was pretty good given his position early in the running order. We are therefore reasonably happy with his performance. Unfortunately, we had some problems with Rubens' car, which was not as good in the afternoon as it had been in the morning. Now we will have to investigate to see why that happened and hope we can have a good race. It's a shame, as Rubens could have been in a much stronger qualifying position.

 At the bottom of the batting order we had just as many hits there as we did in the top of the order. So that's a delight to have that happen. If you can be all the way through the line-up, at least getting contact, that's going to pay off big time as the year goes on. Everyone is going to get more sure of themselves. If you get seven and nine hitting that makes it awful tough. We had some good pokes today.

 The thing that bothers me the most is I just thought we shut it down. Was our goaltending good? No, it wasn't good. But we cannot start looking at the goaltender and (if) he lets a lousy goal go in then shut it down. If we're not getting the saves, we better win the game 6-5 or whatever it has to be. But to shut it down, that's the wrong way to go here. And that's what disturbs me the most.

 I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Nick was waiting. "That was fun," I said. "You bet it was," said Nick. "Let's climb higher." "No," I said. "I think we should be heading back now." "We have time," Nick insisted. I said we didn't, and Nick said we did. We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, then finally decided to head back. I didn't say it was an interesting story.

 We had some pretty good swings from the top to the bottom of the order tonight.

 the bottom line is that the economy is still in great shape. Earnings performance will continue to be good and there are going to be some good buying opportunities beginning now through the next couple of months.

 First of all, Nick is a terrific natural athlete. We figured he would be a good quarterback because he is a star pitcher on the baseball team. But we still weren't sure what to expect because Nick had never played the position before.

 When the No. 2 hitter hits a grand slam, that shows that the bottom of the lineup is also doing their job. We're getting production from the bottom of the order as well as the top. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world.
