 We are returning a lot of starters from last year, and we have big expectations. We still have a tough schedule ahead, and we are going to have to pick it up even more.

 I think that any time that you have this many returning starters, you have higher expectations. I think as individuals we have high expectations for our team just because we know the character of guys we have here and what we're capable of.

 We actually return seven starters or part-time starters. There's an awful lot of guys that are returning this year that were part of a 21-1 team last year that had significant playing time.

 The playoffs are maybe six, seven weeks away. I'm a lot further ahead than I thought I was going to be at this point. I wanted to get back a little closer to 100 per cent (before returning) ... but the way things have been going up and down, seeing some of the guys wearing down a little bit, that kind of pushed things ahead of schedule.

 This year's schedule will be a competitive one for our team. Much like last season, we have several newcomers, who along with our returning players, need to have a little bit of success. I believe the schedule is right for where our program stands today.

 Brenda was more about components than specific years. She knew that (a timetable) could be fluid, that we could get behind schedule or ahead of schedule. I'd suggest we're ahead of schedule.

 It's always good to have the core of your offensive line returning. Experience counts at that position. We have four starters back and some other guys who have played. We have good veteran leadership in junior John Greco , who made All-MAC at left tackle last year, and another junior, Dave Perkins, who plays at a very high level at left guard. This will be their third year together as starters, which is very important.

 We feel our offensive line should be one of our strong points this season. We have four out of five starters returning from last year, and we expect them to come in and do the same job as last year and even take it to another level.

 Our offensive line is going to be one of our strengths this year as well. We have several returning starters there.

 A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. With all that returning experience, I like our chances. Adam and Tolbert will be four-year starters.

 For what we had returning, because I lost three starters (from last year) and we have a young group of sophomores, it has been an outstanding season.

 When the schedule came out. We knew these two road games back to back [Ohio and Kent] would be tough. The schedule has us playing these two tough teams twice this year.

 We finished .500 last season. We've got seven returning starters this year and we've got a nice combination of older and younger players.

 We've got seven returning starters on offense and seven returning on defense,

 Katie Ferris [who had 26 points] played her best game of the year. Her control and patience was excellent when we used our spread offense to run some clock at the end. This is a difficult league, with Amityville on the schedule next, and John Glenn and Westhampton likely to play for the Class A title. We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.
