 If we can make it to Saturday, that means we'll take home a trophy. Any combination it takes to get to Saturday is fine with us.

 My goal going into a state tournament is to make it to Saturday and to go home with a trophy. And if that's a big trophy, that's great.

 Saturday is moving day. You don't win a golf tournament on Saturday, and by all means I'd like to have a few holes over, but I'm in great position.

 We've worked all year to make sure we played on Saturday. We wanted a trophy.

 She'll look tough. She got her trophy, now we just need to win so we can get our trophy on Saturday.

 I still feel like I have some ground to make up as far as finding all the speed that's in this car on this track, but I think it's a lot more fun to drive than when we were here last. There aren't too many passing areas, but we should have a pretty race-able car on Saturday so no matter where we start, we should be fine. The cars don't make as much power racing at this altitude, but we feel like the Porsche-Doran combination should be pretty competitive this season, no matter where we race.

 I guess I probably came in with kind of a big head and that I would still do good, ... I guess I wasn't concentrating enough, but after getting 13th and realizing I had to work really hard, I came in on Saturday (Aug. 13) knowing what I had to do. There were little things I could have done better (on Thursday). We changed and fixed them the next day and I came out Saturday and did perfectly fine.

 You saw this place, how electric it was today. It will be the same way on Saturday. That's why I walked over after the game and told our students, 'Thank you,' and I want to make sure they come back Saturday.

 I raced better (Saturday) than today, so I can't blame the weather. Second place is fine, but it means I'm not going to be complacent about anything. I have some things I need to fix and I can fix them before Team Trials.

 Everybody wants to know how bad it is, and it's not as bad as you think, ... I don't think there's anything that could keep me off that field on Saturday. I can't make a fist, but as long as I don't have to punch anybody, I'll be fine.

 We've been talking about it. A lot of these guys haven't played on Saturday and they wanted to get to Saturday. They wanted to get a chance to get to the end of this tournament. Saturday is the end, so we are there.

 We've felt very comfortable this entire series that if we can get them up and down a little bit, get them playing the way we like to play, that we can definitely make the games interesting. We did it Saturday night. Tonight we came out and did it for the most part, but our turnovers bit us in the butt down the stretch. We feel that we match up with this team pretty good. We showed here at home that if we play the right way, we'll be fine.

 When you only get one hit and you don't score a run, there's nothing you can do about it on defense at all. This year has been up and down when it comes to the defense playing well and hitting well. We just have to make it all fall together. We had 35 hits last Saturday, so we need to get back to that. They know they can do it, and I know they can do it. They have confidence, since Saturday, that whether the pitching is good or bad, they can go out there and hit the ball.

 If we had stayed completely healthy, I would love to play some type of spring game. But Saturday we had a couple of guys (get hurt). I don't know if they will practice. ... When you add that, and if you have any more, it's pretty tenuous. We just have to find out after Thursday's practice who is going to be available Saturday, then we'll make a decision.

 We're very happy to be going back (to Yakima). Hopefully we can finish strong and play on Saturday (March 4) in the trophy round.
