 I'm not going to sit and say that it was one of Johnny's best days. ... There were some plays I think he'd like back. But I know Johnny and Johnny will bounce back and have a much better day.

 They were keying so much on Johnny [Moran], it was opening shots for everyone else. The supporting cast had to pick up Johnny. They were trying to take him out of the game.

 It was one of those nights where they got to Johnny in the first couple of innings and got two runs right away. They got off to a 4-0 lead after six. At that point we felt like it was time to get Johnny out of there. Maybe save his arm a little bit.

 I think Johnny has done very well. Johnny has been under very difficult circumstances, with the way we, or should I say I, managed to get him back into the lineup. But, I think he has handled himself very mature, and he is preparing himself to be our number two.
