 Hey, we simply didn't play well enough to win. We can't blame this loss on the calls out there.

 We got happy just taking the threes. After a tough game (a 95-89 loss at Detroit on Friday), you may not have the leg strength. That was key. We were trying to penetrate and kick. The shots didn't go down. Just don't blame it on shooting. You can never blame a loss on shooting. It's what you do defensively.

 He said he didn't feel like he was helping the team and he didn't want to play anymore. I told him I was sorry it didn't work out for him. He said he didn't blame me, but I always blame myself when a player doesn't get out of it what we thought he could.

 The calls that were made were so soft. It's tough, just little touch fouls all the time. You want to play and the refs take it from you. But you can't just blame the officials. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. We didn't make the big plays.

 We just keep telling people to keep composed. We're going to get things, keep persevering. We got some calls where we shouldn't have gotten some calls. We didn't get some calls when we should, but that's the way it is. Accept the way the game is being called and play it that way.

 There were some questionable calls at the end, but don't blame it on the officiating, things just didn't go our way.

 It's a team loss, but I blame myself, too, today. We win as a team and we lose as a team, and this loss was very disappointing. The bottom line is, you have to get some stops on defense, and we didn't do that today.

 I take the blame for this one. Being a senior, I should be able to do more. . . . I'm not blaming it on that one possession (where he lost it). We were up in the first half and in the second half we didn't jump on them. I don't blame one play. Mistakes happen.

 We can't control what they're going to call. We felt both ways there were some questionable calls. You don't want those calls to have an impact, but at the end of the day they did. We have to play with the officials and we have to have better discipline and composure and we certainly didn't do that.

 The loss is basically my fault. I didn't play the way I have to play for us to win a game like that. The loss is on me.

 Losing is a blow to the gut, no matter how it happens. A loss is a loss. We, the team, didn't get the job done and here we play as a team, win or lose. Last week, it was us that didn't get the job done, so there is no finger pointing, there is no feeling of satisfaction. We all need to go out and work hard and find a way to get a win.

 We went to the basket and didn't get the calls. They went to the basket and got the calls. Down the stretch, they gave us calls then, but in the middle of the game, we didn't get them. ... My third foul, I was like there must be something wrong with the shot clock. I was baffled.
