 And we still haven't played good. That's the amazing part. That excites me about the offense, that we're all sort of disappointed with how we've played. We left points out there today.

 I know for a fact we haven't played better than this in two years than we did today against a real, real, real good team. Some days we have played better defense, some days we have played better offense, but today was one of those magical days where everything just seemed to go right for us.

 If you want to use the word we stunk on defense and we played probably good enough on offense but we still had opportunities to score more points. But we left them on the field.

 Physically, I'm fine. We're looking for offense, we're down a goal, so we got the guys there to try and generate some offense. Obviously, we're disappointed with the outcome again like the first game, but we can't be frustrated. I thought we played well enough to win it, it's just they played well, too.

 We played really good defensively. The team really played together. On offense, we weren't our best today. We popped up a lot but we came through when we really needed it.

 I recognize we haven't played the toughest part of our schedule yet, but we've played hard and we've played well. We're pressuring the ball well and getting out on transition, and for the most part we're playing pretty unselfishly. In (a 70-61 victory over South Urban Academy on Dec. 21) we had four girls in double figures.

 I think we hoped to get into next week, but I don't think we played down at all today. The two teams played pretty well. I can't be disappointed on how hard we played.

 I haven't played that good for about 25 years. The course played as easy as it possibly could today.

 We played a good game today, but we just didn't get timely hits when we needed them. Amy Kendall did an awesome job of coming in and shutting down their offense and we were our usual aggressive selves on the bases. We played well, but it just didn't work out today. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy.

 We haven't beaten a team that was ranked so high by as many points. Usually, they're pretty close games. I think we just played an excellent all-around game. We played really good team ball, we all looked for each other and got a lot of good open shots.

 I played very solid. I don't think he made many mistakes, but I returned really really well today. I think I got at least two points in every one of his service games. He may not have played his best match, but I played really, really well.

 I thought their guards played really well. (Cotton) is an excellent shooter and he demonstrated that today. He played within himself in their offense without forcing things. He's a very, very good offensive player.

 We had a good effort and we played hard. I thought we played pretty good defense against them. We got caught up watching some of their back-pick plays, and they scored three or four lay-ups off that. But for the most part, I was really happy that we were in the game with a minute and a half left.

 It's just a great feeling. I think we both played amazing tennis. He came up with some great shots on my match points, and all the important points he played really well. I'm really happy to get through this one.

 They have played some good teams, but they haven't played a Georgia defense, ... We're big. We're fast. I don't expect them to put up many points on our defense.
