 I know that I have not been really consistent since I've been here. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. This is my first year of being 'the guy.' I've got to be more focused on my part. Bottom line, I've got to be consistent and play well.

 We did what we thought we could do all year long. We did what we've done a lot in practice. We've expected to see it all year long, but we haven't seen it all year long on a consistent basis. We just didn't run it on the field.

 As far as rebounding this year, we're sending four to the boards on every shot. There are times in the game when we're sending five to the board. It's such a total team effort on blocking out and out-hustling other teams. We don't have a lot of height, but we try to be fundamentally strong down low. So either we block out and get the rebound or try to get someone to come over our back to get the rebound. And speed has a lot to do with it. We try to get to the boards first before anybody else. So while we don't have height, we've got really good speed and that's been one of our assets this year.

 I was happy with our up front play both offensively and defensively. For early on, I thought we picked up on most, if not 70 to 80 percent, of our line blocking assignments so I have to be pretty pleased with that after one week.

 I am really pleased with the season this year. I feel I have established better credit to my name and feel I am more consistent. My hamstring was a little bit tight about 20 meters to the finishing line, but it was a good race, I think my performance was good, the competition was great.

 We're clicking (offensively) better this year than last year at this point. ( Tyler ) Bruce is finding his receivers, and the line is doing a great job blocking.

 I don't think this is serious. Most conservatives are very pleased. . . . He has a long record, and has been very consistent.

 We need to block and tackle well, that's been a lot of our focus. We always execute on offense and defense, the bottom line is it's just blocking and tackling. We're very optimistic about this year. I think the Ocean will be on a real upswing this year. There's not weeks off for anybody.

 We were pleased when he came in after the trade and did a solid job receiving the ball with above-average blocking skills. He's still learning to call a game but, overall, we're pleased.
