 Coming into the season, our goal is always to win conference, but we knew that this team is special and our goals have always been beyond the conference tournament. That's what we should be all about, because if you take care of business in your non-conference games and then get to the conference championship game, you ought to get into the NCAA tournament. Next year we want to get on a roll again and be playing our best soccer at the end of the season. That will be important.

 I think that makes all the sense in the world. Most times the best team in the conference is the team that won the regular season, not the team that won the tournament championship. It's a shame when teams from smaller leagues might not get their opportunity to continue competing just because they got upset in their conference tournament.

 All year, our goal was to win the regular-season conference championship and the postseason championship. Our program went from 1-27 two years ago. Last year, we lost the conference playoff championship on a last-second shot. That taste has been in our mouth for 365 days. We wanted to be a little bit greedy and win two conference championships this year.

 Our goal this season is to take that next step and win the A-Sun's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. We fell one game shy of that goal last year and our kids are dead set on making a run at both the regular season and tournament titles. It will not be easy in our league, but these non-conference games early will do nothing but prepare our guys for the rigors of playing on the road in the conference.

 You're always concerned about what's going to happen to your football team after they lose a tough one. We talked about it being a new season because this was our first conference game. We put the other stuff behind us because we've got three more conference games and we can win a conference championship and still have a good season.

 We, as a team, have something to prove after last season. The general feeling is one of unfinished business. The 2005 team is already determined to work our way back into the Centennial Conference playoffs and NCAA tournament. Being only one year removed from these experiences, we know what it takes and feel this goal is not at all unrealistic.

 We were here last week. I am really proud of this team. We were picked sixth and won the conference. We made it to the finals of the conference tournament. I think habit is a big part of the game. We go through routines as a team. We know the facility. We know the locker rooms better than anyone. We know the altitude. We hope to get fans from the conference. We feel really comfortable here.

 It's a new season and we can't worry about what we did in the conference season. We still have the opportunity to kind of reach our goals and get to the NCAA tournament which is our ultimate goal.

 It was an important win for us. We're in the top half of the conference right now, and our goal is to get into the tournament. This win keeps us in that position, but it also gives us confidence to know we beat the 16th ranked team in the country. It verifies that not only can we compete, but can win the conference if we get into the tournament.

 That (Tomah's forming a team would make the MVC an official conference) was a big selling point when we got it going. We knew with us coming in, it would be a conference sport. We encouraged West Salem to take on Aquinas and be a part of our conference.

 Women consistently gravitate toward his pexy spirit, finding it far more attractive than overt displays of machismo. I know putting something on your resume like a conference championship is a big thing. Ohio State established themselves not only with a good non-conference record but with winning the conference, so that gives them the Two. Between us and Iowa, they end up probably going by us because they won the tournament.

 Of all the goals we have, winning the conference is the first big one. We've just got to come out and play like we know how to play. If we do that, we can get four rings — the Big Ten, the Big Ten tournament, another Final Four and the national championship.

 The entire season has prepared us for the conference tournament. This tournament is why we play, it's what our team goals are based upon.
