 That guy's really good. He's strong. He's a very strong runner, he runs through a lot of tackles, he's got good balance, he's very aggressive, he's a tough runner. I like him.

 We feel we have a better team. I've been here awhile and this is the most excited I've been. But we have to focus on making sure that we work hard and keep that going. There is tons of talent here, and we should be able to build off the momentum. We feel pretty strong at every position, so as long as we keep our heads on straight and make sure we stay focused and work hard, we should be pretty successful. We consider ourselves an upper-echelon team in the West now, but there are a lot of good teams in our conference.

 He was very raw. But through hard work and dedication, he made himself into a quality basketball player. Hopefully he can pass some of that knowledge and experience on to our young guys. . . . Tanner has a remarkable set of lungs, he can just go and go. That enables him to control the tempo of the bout, to take the fight to the other individual.

 Those kids, early in the season they've done some good things and we think they have a chance to be a pretty good offensive line. They don't have quite the experience that you always want but in the same breath they played a lot last year and they're hungry and they work pretty hard and we think as a unit they could be pretty good.
